Rick Braswell

I was born and raised in Wilson, and graduated from Fike High School in the class of 1973. I married my high school sweetheart and now plan to live happily ever after as a Big Dawg! I first started in radio with WLLY in Wilson in 1982. I moved to Panama City, Florida, in 1983 and programmed the #1 station in the market: WPAP Country. In 1990, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to do afternoons at WSM-FM—home of the Grand Old Opry and Opryland USA. In 1996, I moved back to Wilson to work with Katie Country and now work for the best new company in radio—First Media Radio!
