I am a Woman above everything else~Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. I am the Media Coordinator here at First Media Radio. I host "Kat's Kitchen" from Noon to 1pm during the week and I co-host the "Flea Market" every Sat morning with Ron Erick Lundy which has been sooo much fun!  I produce THE SPOTLIGHT on our sister station Jammin 99, the "Highway Diner", our Tuesday show @ Don Bulluck Chevrolet Cadillac Collision Center,  and "Wide Awake Wed". I also have an afternoon air shift on Jammin 99. To make a long story short, I was born and raised in Rocky Mount. When I was 21 I moved to Ohio. I found myself working for Swiger Coil Company in Cleveland, aka "The Sweat Shop". Honestly I think it was one of the best life experiences that I've ever had. Every morning I would listen to this morning show that I grew to absolutely love! It was called "Rovers Morning Glory". One day it hit me, I thought why can't I do that?! So I looked into it. I enrolled at The Ohio Center For Broadcasting. I ended up getting 2 internships, one of which was at the same CBS station that "Rovers Morning Glory" was at. My other internship was on a morning show called "WildnFee". After I graduated things in my life seemed to be falling apart personally so, I packed my bags and moved back to my hometown. As the Famous Marylin Monroe would say, then better things were able to fall together. First Media just happened to be in need of a producer, which gave me my first real shot at my dream! I feel so lucky to have found my passion in life, and I'm so happy to have fallen in love with my best friend. We always have a blast together. We are happily married and so head over heels in love with each other! I am excited to say that we're having a baby!
